Meet Liz

Liz Sowers is Quarterback of the KC Glory and the Head Coach of the Ottawa University Women’s Flag Football team. Liz got her start in football after her father gave her and Katie, her twin sister, football helmets and pads for Christmas one year. She fell in love with football and now channels her passion for football into her game as a QB and as a head coach.

Liz hopes her legacy is that she lived life true to herself and not one that was expected of her. She hopes that by pursuing her dreams, as a woman in football, that others are encouraged to live their lives the way they want.

In her free time, Liz loves to draw and watch musicals!
